Delivery & Returns
All deliveries are subject to stock availability and authorisation of your payment.
All deliveries are dispatched/delivered through DPD Monday-Friday (ex Bank Holidays) and if you order before 12pm, we will try to dispatch your parcel that day. If you would like to pickup your order instore, please include a message in the notes section at checkout.
Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland orders are free over €49 (€5 cost under €49) and will take up to 3 working days from time of order (Delivered with DPD). Please provide a mobile phone number for text notifications from DPD. Due to COVID19, there has been a surge in online orders nationwide so there may be a slight delay with the courier getting your parcel to you.
UK (ex Northern Ireland) orders cost €6.50 to deliver and will take up to 5 working days from time of order (Delivered through DPD UK)
EU Orders cost €12.50 to deliver and will take up to 10 working days from time of order (Delivered by DPD Europe). We deliver to the following EU countries: France, Germany, Spain (Mainland), Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia and Czech Republic.
If we receive an order back to us as 'Undeliverable' due to 'Insufficient or incorrect address details' where we have input the address on the postal label exactly as we received it from the customer, reshipping costs will then be the responsibility of the customer. Postage charges for non deliverable parcels are non recoupable.
Christmas 2020 Delivery Dates
Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland - Please order by 9am on Friday 18th December to ensure delivery by Christmas. Include your mobile number incase DPD needs to contact you.
Britain - Please order by 9am on Wednesday 16th December to ensure delivery by Christmas. Include your mobile number incase DPD needs to contact you.
Europe - Please order by 9am on Tuesday 8th December to ensure delivery by Christmas. Include your mobile number incase courier needs to contact you.
We make every effort to ensure that your order is carefully despatched to you, and we hope that you’re happy with your purchase. However, if you have any cause for dissatisfaction with your goods (inc. Sale items on website) you may return them for a refund (which will be issued to the original card/Paypal account used). Items must be in their original condition, unworn and returned within 28 days of receiving them. You should follow the procedure below.
i) Direct to a Hand Footwear store
For an immediate refund, you can return the items to any Hand Footwear store (Monaghan & Carrickmacross) within 28 days. You may also exchange your items in store. If the item is in its original condition, we will process the refund for you.
ii) Return by post
Customers in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland with access to a printer can use DPD's return service (with 600 parcel pickup points throughout the island of Ireland - just search for Hand Footwear on the list of retailers!) at a cost of €6.55. Please note that we do not refund the cost of delivery paid by customers - either postage paid at the checkout or for shoes you return to us (unless faulty or wrong pair sent).
You can return any items to us including Delivery Note (or a copy) within 28 days of receipt. Once we receive your return instore - your item will be refunded within 2 working days. Card refunds will then take a further 2-3 working days to be processed by the banks and Paypal refunds will be immediate. Orders can be returned to the address on your delivery note:

Accuracy of content
We have made every effort to ensure that the products are fairly described, that the product information is correct, and that the colours of our products are displayed as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours you see will vary with the quality of your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your display will accurately reflect the colour of the product requested on delivery.
If, on receiving ordered goods, you have any cause for dissatisfaction you may return them via our returns procedure, which is explained above.
As we are also a retail shop, it may be necessary to send you a pair that is not deemed 'box fresh' due to it being tried on instore. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like us to check if we have a box fresh pair of the relevant style.
How your order is processed
After you have placed an order with us, we will send an email acknowledgement of that order to your designated email address. This email is a confirmation and acceptance of your order. Please check your spam incase you have strong filters.
If after we have confirmed your order we discover any unforeseen reason as to why we cannot complete it, we will cancel your order, in full or in part, and advise you by email or phone call, and refund when necessary.
