What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard through Global Payments - Ireland's No.1 Online Payment Service Provider, this requires 3DS2 authentication when using a card. We also accept Paypal. Our site is also a secure HTTPS ensuring a completely secure transaction.
What Is Your Returns Policy?
If you wish to return part/all of your order you may do so within 28 days of purchase as long as the product is unused and in saleable condition. Items may also be exchanged (subject to stock availability) if you include a note detailing what style/size/colour you want to exchange for - more than one exchange/extra delivery per order will result in postage charges so Hand Footwear can send out your desired style. Any exchanges outside of Ireland must pay a postage cost in order for us to send out a different style/size (same postage cost as original order).
You can either post the product back to us at the address on your delivery note or return it to Hand Footwear in Carrickmacross or in Monaghan town and we will process your refund immediately- minus any cost of delivery you paid e.g. if you bought a €20 pair of shoes and paid €25 including delivery, we will refund €20.
If you choose to return the item by post, make sure to get proof of postage from post/courier.
Please note that orders not made in EURO are subject to fluctuating exchange rates i.e. If you decide to return an order or an item is not in stock, we refund the full EURO price which may differ slightly to a sterling price that you paid.
Do You Offer Free Returns?
No, not at present. However, you can get a discounted rate by going to DPD returns , selecting Hand Footwear and going from there - orders cost €6.55 to return through over 600 pickup points nationwide. You will need access to a printer to avail of this service.
Can I Cancel My Order?
You can cancel your order until 12pm on day of dispatch by calling us at 0429661676. However, once your order has been delivered, you have 28 days to return your item(s) and claim a full refund (excluding any paid postage).
Can I Amend My Order?
You can amend your order any time before you check-out. If you made an error, please give us a call at (+353) 042 9661676 as soon as possible so we can help. We are open Monday-Saturday 9.30am-6pm and . you can also email us at email@example.com.
Do I Have To Order Online?
Not at all – we have a variety of all our styles available in store. Simply visit your nearest Hands Footwear store choose the style you like, order (and pay for) your items, and decide whether you would like to collect them from store or have them delivered to you at home.
Do You Offer Click & Collect?
Yes we do! Instead of selecting DPD as your delivery method at the checkout - you also have the option of selecting 'Click & Collect Carrickmacross' or 'Click & Collect Monaghan Town' for collection in either of our two stores. When your order is ready for collection we will contact you via phone or email. There are no delivery charges with this option (including orders under €49, which is our threshold for Free Delivery).
Why Am I Having Difficulty Completing My Order?

What Do The Different Width Fittings Mean?
For womens footwear, the standard size width fitting is D, E would be a wide fitting and EE would be an extra wide fitting. For mens footwear- F is a narrow fit, G is a standard fit and H is a wide fit. For childrens footwear - E is a narrow fit, F is a standard fit, G is a wide fit and H is an extra wide fit.
What Do The European Sizes Mean?
Please note that UK/EU size comparisons can vary slightly depending on the brand (e.g. Skechers). Please contact us before ordering if you require more information regarding size/fit.
